On most Aqua Master watches, the chronograph dials are timers that begin counting when you press the top right button on the watch. One will count seconds, another will count minutes, and another will count hours. These dials should reset back to zero when the bottom right button is pushed. If the dials are not resetting back to zero, this can be adjusted by pulling the crown out all the way and then pressing the buttons on the side to move the chronograph hands.
In some cases, the second hand will not move unless the timer is enabled, meaning that it is not actually a second hand, but a part of the chronograph and, more than likely, one of the sub dials is counting seconds. This is done to preserve the battery life of the watch and be more energy efficient.
If there is something wrong with the chronograph of the watch, it may need to be reset, but in some cases where a reset doesn’t fix the problem, it may need to be sent in for repair.
